Madie Annie and Emily!
When we look at this we see tragedy. This 4 year old Romanian boy living on the outskirts of Rome feels pain everyday. Him and his family all share a mattress and a couple of torn blankets. This photo tells the story of hope inspiration. When we look at this picture we feel inspired. We feel like we should help, and that we can do something to help him to stop suffering. This photo speaks to us in big words. Its saying that this little boy can change the way you think and make you want to know more about his story and his life. This photo has the power to make somebody feel inspiration to help. This boy and his family really need a lot. This photo has the power to make you want to know how he feels.... Does he know anybody outside of his family? Does he try to work to support his family? This little Romanian boy living on the outskirts of Rome, really has a big story to tell, and that is why this photo speaks to us. http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/08/04/where-children-sleep/ James Mollison

I'm going to attempt to answer your question, "does he help to support his family?" I think that he may possibly try to help. I know from past knowledge that children sometimes work in order to help support their families, so there is a strong possibility that he does the same thing.
