Dorothea Lange - Japanese soon-to-be soldiers
This picture is a picture that really speaks to me. The way it is set up makes me feel that these people are scared and nervous. These Japanese people are trying to overcome there fears soon before they go to war. Even the nurses look like they feel bad for them. They make me see in other perspectives. Everybody knows what goes on during war, but nobody knows what goes on before war. Boys go through painful vaccinations, boot camp, having to leave their families. None of us will probably ever have to experience what these boys are going through, but now, in this picture, we get an idea. Dorothea Lange shows us the power within a photo, and shows is thst these are very brave men, all lining up for fate.
